What we collect
Only what we need to quote the coverage you ask about and service it: the answers you give (like your address, details about your home, vehicles or business, and your contact information), files you upload, chats with our assistant, when and how you gave consent, and basic technical details such as your IP address and browser.
How we use it
We use your information to prepare your quotes, contact you about them and service any policy you buy.
Our licensed agents enter your answers with the insurance companies we quote with, to get your prices. Insurance companies may use your credit-based insurance score, claims history and driving records to price your quotes. If you check the box for it, we may also email you insurance tips and offers from Magnuson Insurance itself.
Who receives it
- Insurance companies we ask for quotes for you, and the wholesale brokers some of them work through.
- Our service providers, only to run this site for us: website hosting, email, and the AI services described below.
- Ad platforms (Google, Meta, Microsoft) learn that you started or finished a quote, and match it using a scrambled (hashed) email or phone, only if you allow advertising cookies. We never send them your answers.
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with other insurance agencies or marketing partners. Beyond the list above, we share it only when the law requires or allows it, for example to prevent fraud or to answer a subpoena.
Files you upload and AI services
Files you upload, like your current declarations page, are stored privately and only our licensed agents can open them. If you upload a declarations page, we may send it to an AI service (Claude, by Anthropic) to read the details and fill in answers for you to check. If you use our chat assistant, your messages go to the same service. We don't let it decide anything about your coverage: a licensed agent reviews every request.
Calls, texts and email
We only call, text or send you marketing email if you checked the box that allows it, and you can stop at any time by replying STOP, telling us on a call, or using the unsubscribe link in any email. Marketing emails always include a one-click unsubscribe.

Deleting your information
You can ask us to delete the information you gave us. Email info@magnusonins.com or call (863) 606-5147. We stop all marketing to you the same day, confirm the request came from you using the email or phone number we have, and finish within 45 days.
We keep only what the law requires: the records of any policy we placed for you (until 5 years after it ends), proof of the consent you gave us, and your request itself, so we never contact you or share your information again.
