About Attune
Attune is a technology-enabled managing general agent (MGA) platform, headquartered in New York City, that gives independent agents fast online quoting and binding for small-commercial insurance products such as businessowner's policies, general liability, and workers' compensation. Policies are underwritten by carrier partners rather than by Attune itself. Originally launched in 2016 as a joint venture backed by AIG, Hamilton Insurance Group, and Two Sigma, Attune was acquired by cyber insurer Coalition in 2021 and then by Cake, the digital MGA subsidiary of Colorado-based Pinnacol Assurance, in January 2023, which remains its current owner.
