This website (the "Site") is operated by Magnuson Insurance, LLC (the "Agency"), an independent insurance agency licensed in Florida (agency license L104700), at 124 S Florida Ave, Suite 302, Lakeland, FL 33801. By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
What the Site Is For
The Site describes the insurance the Agency quotes and places, lets you request quotes, pay an invoice the Agency issued, reach the Agency, and read guides about Florida insurance. The guides and tools are general information, written for Florida. They aren't legal, tax or financial advice, and they aren't advice about your own policy. Reading the Site doesn't make the Agency your agent; that happens when a licensed agent takes on your account.
Quotes and Quote Requests
A quote request sent through the Site, by email, through the intake API or through an assistant is a request for a licensed agent to prepare quotes. It isn't an application for insurance and it doesn't bind, change or cancel coverage. Each insurance company makes its own underwriting and pricing decisions, a quote can change when the company checks the answers, and coverage exists only when the insurance company issues a policy and the premium is paid. Nothing on the Site, in an email from the Agency or in an assistant's reply guarantees that a quote, a price or coverage will be available.
Give true and complete answers. A quote prepared from wrong answers can be withdrawn, and an insurance company can decline or rescind a policy issued on them. Send a request only for yourself, or for someone who knows and has agreed, and use the customer's own email address, since the confirmation and the quotes go there.
Automated Access: the Intake API, the Quote Email Address and the MCP Server
The Agency publishes its quote questions and offers software routes for sending a request: the intake API at
/quote/api/intake, the quote email address shown on the question
list, and the MCP server at /quote/api/mcp. They're for AI assistants, agents and software
acting for a customer, with that customer's knowledge, and for referral partners sending a client's request
with the client's agreement. Using them you agree to:
- send only requests a real person asked for, with that person's own email address;
- never send a Social Security number, a bank or card number, a driver's license image or a password, which the request doesn't take;
- stay within the published rate limits and not probe, flood, scrape or load-test the routes;
- not misrepresent who is sending, and not use the routes to build a competing lead or data service.
The Agency may limit, refuse or block access to these routes at any time, and may change or withdraw them without notice. A request sent through them is handled like one sent on the Site: a licensed agent reviews it, and the Agency never sells or shares quote requests with other agencies or marketing partners.
Lookup Tools
The flood zone lookup, the USDOT lookup and the business insurance lookup show what public sources (FEMA, the Census Bureau, FMCSA, the Census Bureau's NAICS list) report for what you typed. They are lookups, not determinations. A flood zone shown is not an official flood zone determination, and the coverage notes aren't an insurance company's appetite or a rating class. Confirm anything that matters with the source, your lender or a licensed agent.
Payments
The Make a Payment page takes payments for amounts the Agency bills directly, through a payment processor whose own terms apply. Card and bank details go to the processor, never to the Agency's servers. Any payer fee is shown before you pay. Premiums billed by an insurance company are paid to that company, not through this page.
Staff Pages
Agent Access and the other staff pages are for the Agency's authorized staff only. Don't try to sign in to them or reach them without authorization.
Content and Trademarks
The Site's text, images, guides, tools and code are the Agency's or its licensors' and are protected by copyright. You may read, print and share pages for your own non-commercial use with the source named. Insurance company names and logos belong to those companies and appear only to identify them. Photos credited to Unsplash are used under Unsplash's license.
Links to Other Sites
The Site links to insurance companies, government sources and other sites the Agency doesn't control. Their content and terms are their own, and a link isn't an endorsement.
No Warranties and Limits on Liability
The Site and its tools are provided as they are. The Agency works to keep them accurate and available but doesn't warrant that they are error-free, complete, current or uninterrupted. To the extent Florida law allows, the Agency isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss from using the Site, relying on a guide or a lookup, or an interruption of the Site or its automated routes. Nothing here limits the Agency's duties under its license or any liability that can't be limited by law.
Privacy
How the Agency collects and uses information is in the Privacy Policy, and the quote request's own privacy notice says what a request keeps and who sees it. Text messaging terms are in the Privacy Policy's Text Messages section.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute about the Site is brought in the state or federal courts for Polk County, Florida, unless the law says otherwise.
Changes
The Agency may change these terms by posting a new version here with a new effective date. Using the Site after that means you accept the change.
