About Patriot Select
Patriot Select Property and Casualty Insurance Company is a newer Florida homeowners insurer based in the Tampa Bay area, approved by the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation to begin writing business in 2025. It was founded by John W. Rollins, a longtime Florida insurance executive who previously served as Chief Risk Officer at Citizens Property Insurance Corporation. Patriot Select offers homeowners, condo, renters, and business property coverage in Florida, Texas, and Louisiana, sold through independent agents, and has participated in Citizens' depopulation program, which moves eligible policies from Citizens into private carriers.
